Trains on the SouthWest Service, which carry passengers to suburbs including New Lenox, were also delayed by 20-to-30 minutes, with at least two trains canceling their runs due to problems with switch.
The Heritage Corridor, which services suburbs like Lemont and Joliet, is also seeing delays, officials said.
