A new construction project could cause traffic problems at one of Omaha’s busiest intersections
A construction project at one of Omaha’s busiest intersections could cause problems for commuters for the next few days. In a news release, Omaha Public Works said the Metropolitan Utilities District will close all but one westbound lane at 72nd and Dodge streets for utility work. Those lane closures are expected to last four days, starting at 7pm on Thursday. Officials are urging drivers to find alternate routes until construction is complete.
