Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., lashed out on Friday aimed at President Biden and the Democrat leadership over their support for Israel amid the war with Hamas.
His angry comments came at a press conference held outside the US Capitol with some fellow members of the far-left “Squad” calling for a ceasefire in the war.
“How can we have a president who talks about freeing hostages, who talks about deporting American citizens from Israel, but he can’t say, I want to save and work to save hundreds, thousands of Americans stuck. in Gaza. What’s wrong with you?” Omar said after saying that Israel has dropped more bombs on Gaza in the last 10 days than the US has done all year on Afghanistan.

“How is this possible? Wait, so [are] lives of some Americans [more] important than others? Is an American living in Gaza less important than one living in Israel? How can you tell the American people to go to the south of Gaza, but you can’t tell Netanyahu not to bomb the south because there are Americans there?” he said.
Omar said it was “painful and scary” to work with other Democrats who he said blame all Muslims for the violence. It’s unclear who he’s referring to, but progressive Rep. Ritchie Torres, DN.Y., took aim at “Squad” members last week for what he called a “cynical and disgusting” response to the October 7 Hamas attack.

“And there is not a single condemnation coming from our caucus leadership or any member of Congress,” she said. “How is this — how do we serve a body, serve a body where there are members who condemn us for asking for peace, for a cease-fire, the simplest thing?”
Fox News Digital has reached out to the White House and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, DN.Y., for comment.
Before his appearance at the press conference, Omar was stressed by Fox Business reporter Hillary Vaughn on her support for a cease-fire against terrorists whose goal is to wipe out the existence of Jews.

Omar ignored the questions before saying, “Don’t pay attention to this crazy woman, don’t worry about her,” as he ushered her into the elevator.
On Thursday, Omar was forced to walk back comments blaming Israel for a hospital explosion in Gaza that US intelligence determined was not from a projectile launched by the Israeli Defense Forces. However, he failed to apologize.
