“To end ‘Pride Month,’ let’s hear from the politician who did more than any other Republican to celebrate it…” the campaign said.
The video was created by another Twitter user and knocks the 2024 GOP challenger over his Pride merchandise, relationship with Caitlyn Jenner and 2016 promise to “protect our LGBTQ citizens.”
In contrast, the video introduces headlines — along with video cuts of Christian Bale’s “American Psycho” character Patrick Bateman and Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby on the show “Peaky Blinders” — depicting DeSantis making of actions against the transgender and LGBTQIA+ community.

DeSantis has made anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation a big part of his agenda.
The governor signed bills in May that banned gender-affirming nursing for minors, targeted drag shows, restricted discussion of personal pronouns in schools and forced the people who used certain toilets.
DeSantis signed the bill at the evangelical Cambridge Christian School in Tampa.
The governor is Catholic, as is Democratic President Joe Biden. Trump, appearing at a Faith & Freedom Coalition gala in Washington, DC, said no president has “fought for Christians as hard,” according to The New York Times. Evangelicals threw their support behind Trump during the last presidential election.

DeSantis also recently criticized the White House for individuals at a Pride event who posed topless.
Spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said the behavior was “unacceptable” and people would not be invited to future events.
“I think when you have inappropriate behavior in the White House with transgender people like this flashing people naked and all this stuff, it’s totally inappropriate,” DeSantis said. at a press conference. “And I think even the White House has to recognize that this is inappropriate.”
He also took a swipe at the Biden administration for displaying the American flag next to the Pride flag.
“When they have in the White House, you know, this transgender flag as the top of the American flag, that’s wrong, that’s not how you show the American flag,” the Republican said.
Experts are divided about whether the White House display is a violation of the Flag Code.

Trump, who said the country stood in solidarity with members of the Orlando LGBT community following the Pulse nightclub shooting that killed 49 people in 2016, said he would “keep men in women’s sports” and promised to ban “child sex.” damage.”
