Looks like renovations are underway at The Boathouse restaurant at Disney Springs. We’ve come a long way since this popular dining spot first reopened to guests after the COVID-19 pandemic closures, although various improvements and renovations are sure to take place over time.
This restaurant, popular with Amphicar tours and sing along brunches, seems to have little work outside of it.
Refurbishments at The Boathouse
We noticed that this part of the deck was undergoing some sort of renovation, with tarps, planks of wood, and various other equipment resting on the wall.

The whole part of the dock is boarded up and divided from visitors, with a sign that reads: “Excuse our dust while we create a new experience for you.” Vintage photos of old boat styles and posters promoting Amphicar tours flank each side.
These Amphicar tours are extremely rare, as very few vehicles of this type still exist in the world. Guests can board vintage cars that double as boats on a unique tour of Disney Springs’ waterways. These tours run from 10 am to 10 pm (weather permitting) on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are available at the front podium or at The Boathouse Boutique.
